Keeping a record
I wanted somewhere more permanent than a watch history or a list of ratings. Some movies leave behind an image, an idea, or a feeling that keeps changing long after I have watched them. This is where I keep those pieces.
The shelf is not meant to be complete. It will grow as I work through familiar classics, overlooked films, folklore, practical-effects nightmares, and the deeper parts of the horror iceberg.
Not reviews. Field notes.
I am not a professional critic, and I am not trying to prove that my interpretation is the correct one. These entries are personal records: what I noticed, what unsettled me, what worked, what did not, and what sent me looking further.
Horror is too strange and varied to reduce to a score. I am more interested in the trail each film leaves behind.

Terror Shelf will eventually hold published journal entries, a watchlist, ratings, private notes, and a map of the horror iceberg. For now, it begins with the films and ideas worth remembering.
